If you are wondering why I have not posted new pictures for a while, well this is why. We bought a new place and in the last few months we have moved and done the inevitable redecorating. You can read about my views on the mortgage on the BBC website, which had an article about me.
Here are a few pictures of the place. Updated in June 2006 after the missing rooms were painted!
This is the front of the house, as you can see it is a bit hilly in Loughton. And the hallway, with the new table we bought and the Buddha Janice bought in the Netherlands somewhere. All pictures are by Janice (surprise)....
This is the living room, it is one long room with a dining area and a seating area. The Ikea chair has been replaced with a chest.
The study and the bathroom.

And finally a selection of pictures from the garden. This is what Janice is most proud of so I had to cut the selection down to just a few! I dug the pond myself as one of the first things when we moved in.
You can see the difference a few weeks make as the blooming apple tree is the same as in the other pictures!
The pond is attracting all sorts of folk now that the water is clear and the fish can be seen:
And we bought a swing. I had to paint the thing of course (twice) but that was okay, it is absolute brilliant.
