On our return from Hong Kong, we had one week before we left again for Amsterdam this time. We took the ferry to Hook of Holland 5 days before the wedding, giving us time enough to organise the last few things. Meeting the council official who would perform the marriage, speaking to the miller and the restaurant manager to make sure everything was done correctly, picking the flowers for the wedding bouquet, confirming the wedding cake. Just a few things...
On the Wednesday before the wedding I had my stag do. John organised to go karting with a few Dutch and a few English friends. The whole event was so exciting I even forgot to take pictures!
During the week, Janice's mother and brother arrived, as did Amy. Amy stayed with my parents and helped Janice with her make up. We went sightseeing with them, so there are some pictures of that too.
On the Friday, Janice stayed at my parents and I stayed at my sister. On the 11th of June, the day itself, a car was to take me to Assendelft, where we were going to have lunch. From there, we were to take pictures and make our way to the mill for the wedding and reception. After that to the restaurant for dinner and the party.
