In the August bank holiday weekend, Janice and myself took the family on a wedding hunt. We needed to find a place to get married (June 11th 2005), have dinner and a wedding party.
My parents and sister had arranged a lot of sightings, of which this was on the second day. My sister and her fiancee, Oscar, went along as they were interested in the place as well for their wedding. Unfortunately, it turned out to be booked on their wedding day. And since we decided to get married in Amsterdam, De Burg is not getting custom from the De Wever Wedding Association!
De Burg, Noord-Scharwoude
De Burg is out of the way (75 minutes from the Molen van Sloten) but especially Janice really liked it. I think it is a nice place, but a bit too far.
