From the 17th to the 31st of October 2001, Janice took me to see Hong Kong, where she acted as tour guide. She showed me both the touristy and domestic side of Hong Kong. For two weeks, we shopped, ate, made trips, met up with her friends, shopped some more and ate some more. The pictures on this, the previous and the following page have been made in Hong Kong and shop some of the things we saw and did.

These are pictures of the big Buddha, an enormous statue on the top of a mountain on Lantau Island. It belongs to a monastery; the stairs to the top of the mountain are no fun. But we did take the necessary pictures. Janice's mother came along to, which meant it was a great opportunity for those two to talk and talk and talk.

The Buddha

One of the evenings out. We met up with a group of Janice's friends. This picture was taken when we were still reasonably sober. From left to right: Chi Man, Tak, Anders, Sylvia, Janice, Gianni, Kamy, and myself.
