Hello and welcome to my website. If you have not visited for a while, you will have noticed I have completely redesigned my site. Due to the success of the
pop quiz my mate Gav and myself put together as well as the continued
questions I get on immigration and research
(
pages only) I decided to put the effort in and update the design as well as all pages.
Purpose
This website is designed and maintained by me. I have recently put ads on the quiz pages though as my hosting costs went through the roof due to its popularity. Overall, it is a hobby project and not intended to make money. I use it to tell 'the world' about things I am interested in and allow family and friends to keep in touch and up to date with my activities.
For those of you who regularly check back on my site, I maintain a change log. I will normally not update this site daily or even weekly, so check the last update and the change log.
Navigation
Navigating through the site is easy, there are navigation bars at the top and bottom of every page. Sub-navigation is provided at the left-hand side of each page where multiple pages are defined for a topic. Like on this one.
I do not like hyperlinks blue and underlined, so mine are not. My hyperlinks can be identified by hovering over them with the mouse (test here). If the text turns bold, it is a hyperlink. All text in the navigation bars, sub-navigation bars and page index are hyperlinks.
And finally...
I welcome feedback on my site. It takes a lot of effort to set this site up and I like to know that people are seeing it. Praise should go into the guestbook, critical notes to the message function. If you leave an email address, I will answer. Promise.
